The Junior Lifeguard Club (JLC) program is for all youth interested in being active and enhancing their skills in a fun, high paced environment. JLC members work on their own personal bests in the swimming, lifesaving, fitness, knowledge, leadership and teamwork. This program sets up participants to be successful in the Bronze Medals. Prerequisites: Must be able to complete the Swim to Survive Standard which focuses on basic water survival skills performed in the following sequence: Roll into deep water, tread water for 1 minute and swim 50m.
