Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Recertification

The National Lifeguard Recertification is a 4 hour evaluation of National Lifeguard - Pool skills and fitness items, including a timed 400m endurance swim, a timed 50m head-up sprint, submerged object recovery, spinal management, and Lifeguard scenarios. You will also receive updates from the Lifesaving Society regarding current policy and best practices. Award is current for 2 years. Prerequisites: Prior successful completion of the NL course and a current Government of Alberta workplace approved Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C award. A bathing suit is required.
